What is more exciting for you, achieving a high rank for yourself or having a student achieve such a prestigious rank?
Sergey Rudnev: I have more fun on the success of my students on the platform than of myself.
Kettlebellista: You are a very busy man where you travel and certify around the world to spread the word of Kettlebells. Do you still have time to train hard for yourself? What is your next goal training wise?
Sergey Rudnev: I try to learn something new constantly during my travels around the world. Different people live in different countries and hold unequal knowledge and skills. This is very useful for my personal development. My ultimate goal is to write a book about kettlebell lifting sport and fitness with KBs.

Sergey Rudnev: The most misunderstood factor in Kettlebell Sport is misunderstanding the meaning of the development of the special flexibility for the growth of the result.
Kettlebellista: What advice can you give to a Kettlebell Lifter that has been in a plateau? What should they focus on besides Kettlebell Technique? Strength? Flexibility? Conditioning?
Sergey Rudnev: If the Kettlebell Lifter is in the state of plateau he must change something in his training methodology and pay more attention to the improvement of the special endurance and flexibility.

Sergey Rudnev: If you want to be a high class athlete in KB sport you should use the extra GPP for the training especially cyclical exercises such as running, rowing, swimming cycling. You can use KBs classic exercises no more then 1 hour at the training session, but the total time of the session should be 2-3 hours.
